2025 Honda XL750 Transalp Launched in India at ₹10.99 Lakh – Adventure Beast With 90.5 HP

Honda has finally launched the much-awaited XL750 Transalp in India. It comes with a price tag of ₹10.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Gurugram). This adventure tourer now joins Honda’s BigWing lineup. Deliveries will begin in July 2025, and bookings are already open at BigWing dealerships.

Design Inspired By Africa Twin

The XL750 Transalp is clearly inspired by its big brother, the Africa Twin. It has a strong adventure-bike stance but with a slim and clean profile. Honda is offering it in two paint schemes – Graphite Black and Ross White. It looks rugged yet minimal. The dual LED projector headlamps at the front are neatly tucked in. These merge both high and low beams into one unit.

A compact windscreen is provided too. It helps reduce wind pressure while riding for long hours. The body doesn’t look bulky but still feels solid enough to handle bad roads.

Powerful Engine For All Roads

At the heart of the XL750 Transalp sits a 755 cc parallel-twin engine. It is liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, and packs a punch. The bike makes 90.5 hp at 9,500 rpm. Peak torque stands at 75 Nm, delivered at 7,250 rpm. This motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

For smooth shifting, Honda has included an assist-slipper clutch. The engine setup is designed for performance across various terrains.

Multiple Riding Modes And Electronics

Riders get to choose from five different riding modes – Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel and User. These modes adjust power delivery, braking feel, and traction control levels. The throttle-by-wire system helps in fine-tuning each mode.

Dual-channel ABS comes standard. This helps while braking on wet or rough roads. The safety package also includes an emergency stop signal that activates hazard lights during sudden braking. Plus, turn indicators cancel automatically after a turn.

Suspension And Brakes Made For Adventure

This bike is built to tackle all types of terrain. It comes with a 21-inch front spoke wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel. Both are ideal for off-road and touring needs. Suspension duties are handled by Showa 43 mm upside-down forks at the front. At the rear, there’s a Pro-Link setup. Both ends are adjustable for rebound and compression damping.

Brakes are solid too. You get dual 310 mm wave discs with two-piston calipers at the front. The rear features a 256 mm disc with a single-piston unit.

Tech Features Add Modern Touch

The 2025 XL750 Transalp isn’t just about power. It’s loaded with useful tech. A 5.0-inch TFT colour screen displays all the ride data. It comes with anti-glare treatment for better visibility. Riders can navigate through functions using a four-way backlit switch.

Honda RoadSync is also included. This allows phone connectivity, music control, navigation, call alerts and even voice commands. It’s a handy feature, especially for touring riders.

The new XL750 Transalp has a blend of raw power, adventure capabilities, and smart features. It looks ready to take on long journeys and rough paths with equal ease.
